The journey of Inverta began long before its official launch. It started with a shared passion between founders David Lack and Jade Lack, a passion that blended creativity, engineering, and the aerial arts.
David’s path to innovation began when he left his engineering degree to pursue a Engineering/Machining apprenticeship. With a natural talent for problem-solving and a love for making things, he developed skills in design and manufacturing through hands-on learning. David constantly created solutions for the hobbies he was passionate about, laying the foundation for what would become Inverta.
Jade discovered aerials in 2012 and quickly fell in love with the artform. Her dedication and talent saw her grow from student to coach and, eventually, manager of Aerial Artistry. Her expertise, creativity, and leadership in the space became a vital part of what Inverta stands for today.
When Jade and David met in 2019, their worlds collided in the best way. David was introduced to the aerial community—not as a performer, but as a supportive partner with a curious mind. Inspired by what he saw, he started developing practical solutions for aerial studios. His first innovation... Box Truss Tie-Off Points. This unlocked a world of new possibilities and sparking a journey of design and development.
By early 2023, Jade had opened her own aerial studio, Inverted Aerials. This gave David the opportunity to refined his manufacturing skills, producing lyra hoops, rigging points, and custom aerial equipment to support the studio’s growth.
Fast forward to 2025: Inverta is now bringing its vision to life—delivering world-class, thoughtfully engineered aerial equipment. And while David never finished his formal degree, every Inverta product is backed by real-world experience and validated by a certified RPEQ Engineer, ensuring every design meets the highest safety and performance standards.
